Schools, Churches On Lockdown In Troy Following Gunshots
Gun shots heard in the area have prompted police to lock down schools and churches in Troy. Here is the latest.
TROY, MI — Several schools and churches in the city of Troy are on lockdown Tuesday morning as police investigate reports of shots fired in the area, according to reports.
WWJ reported that police are searching the area of Wattles and Livernois after gunshots were heard around 9 a.m. A police helicopter is also in on the search.
Anyone who may have heard or seen something suspicious is asked to call the Troy Police Department at (248) 524-3443.
