Oakland County averaged fewer than 100 new coronavirus cases a day over the last 10 days. The county average over 130 from April 12-21.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — More than 8,100 cases of the coronavirus and nearly 1,000 deaths have been reported in Oakland County.

However, the number of newly reported coronavirus cases is trending downward, as the number of new cases reported from May 12-21 is significantly lower than the number of new cases reported from April 12-21.

Oakland County reported 928 cases of the coronavirus over the last 10 days. That's an average of 92.8 a day. Meanwhile, the county reported 48 deaths during that time, an average of nearly five deaths a day.
