Troy Estate Sale Value Estimated at $20,000

Steve Humphreys of Vogue Vintage in Pleasant Ridge has seen plenty of hoards in his career as an antique collector, but rarely one as big as this one in Troy.

You can visit the sale, at 6559 Granger Ct., on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale opened on Wednesday to a line of antiques dealers which brought to mind images of Black Friday shoppers waiting outside stores for several hours, Humphreys said.

The collection, on which a woman had collected since 2000, is expected to bring in $20,000 by the time the estate sale ends on Saturday, according to Humphreys. Vogue Vintage spent three weeks poring over 700 boxes of items after being contacted by the family of the woman, Humphreys added.
