Troy advances to the state final for the third straight year and will play Grandville at 12 noon on Saturday at Williamston for the chance to win its third state championship and first since 2003, according to the Detroit News.

MI Prep Zone reports that while the season may not have gone entirely as Troy may have liked, the thrilling victory on Wednesday proved that the girls always had it in them to win.
