Troy Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect

Police have distributed a surveillance photo of a suspect in Monday's robbery of the Big Beaver Road Citizens Bank.

TROY, MI — Troy Police and the FBI Oakland County Gangs and Violent Crimes Task Force are looking for a suspect in a robbery that occurred Monday at Big Beaver Road Citizens Bank on Monday. Police said the man approached a teller, demanded money and then left the bank on foot. The robbery happened at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Police describe the man as a thin, light-skinned black male with sunken cheeks, who is approximately 40 years old, of average height, and was wearing jeans and dark colored shoes with white soles and laces. He is also described as having buck teeth and possibly some silver teeth. The bank is located at 751 E. Big Beaver.

No weapons were seen during the incident and no one was injured, Troy Police said. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Troy Police Department at 248-524-3477 or anonymously at 248-524-0777. Officers warn if the man is seen to not approach him; instead call police immediately.
