Together they raised their son Douglas who lives in Royal Oak.  Nathan graduated from Redford High School and was in the first graduating class at Lawrence Tech in 1936, where he received his engineering degree. He worked as a mechanical engineer at Vickers for over 35 years before he retired, working on many government contracts.

Nathan and Magdalena loved traveling across the United States and to Mexico.  Nathan continues to attend the Birmingham Senior Men's Club to meet with friends. They held a wonderful celebration in honor of Nathan’s 100th birthday. Nathan is honored and respected by all for the many contributions to his family, his community and his positive outlook on life.
