Troy Teacher of the Year Drives Away in New Jeep Grand Cherokee
The 1-year lease donated by The Suburban Collection is part of Sue Pickering's Troy Teacher of the Year award.

Sue Pickering, a media specialist at Smith and Boulan Park middle schools, was visibly stunned when Troy Schools Superintendent Barbara Fowler and her colleagues ambushed her with the Troy Teacher of the Year award as she was teaching class on Feb. 6.
During the impromptu award presentation, Daniel Boismier, a spokesman for the Suburban Collection, informed Pickering that part of her award was a free 1-year lease for the vehicle of her choice.
"In honor of this achievement, Sue and her husband Michael recently took delivery of a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee provided by The Suburban Collection for a one-year lease," reads a press release from The Suburban Collection.
