What's Open, Closed in Troy on New Year's Weekend
If you're staying in Troy for the holiday, check out our list of what's open and closed.

Here's everything you might need to know about what's open and when.
City offices
Since New Year's Day falls on Sunday this year, the , banks and government offices will also be closed on Monday, when the federal holiday is observed.
Troy City Hall – which includes the offices of the , treasurer and – is closed Friday through Monday for the holiday weekend and will reopen Tuesday. The Troy Parks & Recreation Department and are also closed Friday through Monday and will reopen Tuesday.

The Troy Police and Fire departments are still operating, of course, so if you have a police or fire emergency, don't hesitate to call 911. For non-emergencies, call the at 248-524-3477 or the at 248-524-3419.
Trash collection will not be affected by New Year's, according to the City of Troy website. Pickup will remain on schedule.

- The will be open Friday until 10 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. (open swim from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.). The Community Center is closed on New Year's Day.
