When Does the Troy Aquatic Center Pool Open?

Get the info you need on daily rates, season passes and more for the popular Troy destination.

Warmer weather has finally arrived and many kids and grown-ups in Troy will soon be looking forward to breaking out their swimsuits for the season.

The Troy Family Aquatic Center opens Friday, May 24 and is open through Labor Day. Now in its 22nd season, the center features a main swimming pool with zero-depth entry, children's spray pools with a waterfall and water slide, a sand-filled play area and more.

The Aquatic Center will offer a Free Admission Day on Friday, May 24 from noon until 7:30 p.m. Anyone who purchases season passes on this day will also receive two free daily guest passes.

Listed below are the center's rates, according to the City of Troy web site.

Daily Passes Fee Resident $8.50 Resident Twilight Fee (after 5 pm) $4.50 Non-Resident Employee $10.50 Non-Resident Employee Twilight Fee (after 5 pm) $5.50 Non-Resident $12 Non-Resident Twilight Fee (after 5 pm) $6.25

Note: Children under age 3 as of May 1, 2013 do not need a pass.

Hours for 2013 are not yet listed however regular season hours last year were as follows:

  • Early Season (May 26 - June 13): 3-7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  • Special Hours, Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day): 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
  • Regular Season (June 14 - Sept. 3): 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in June and August; 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday in July; 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
