You Voted: Lukich's is 2012 Best Place for Breakfast in Troy

On Monday, we asked readers to vote for the best place for breakfast in Troy.

With 19 restaurants on the list, many received multiple votes and comments. But one stood out from the rest, receiving a third of 68 total votes.

So, we heartily congratulate Lukich's Family Dining – the 2012 Best Place for Breakfast in Troy.

Owner Donna Lukich, who bought the restaurant more than 20 years ago, said she is pleased Troy residents voted for Lukich's and promised to display her Patch certificate inside the restaurant.

With six five-star reviews and numerous positive comments, Troy Patch readers weren't shy to share their love for Lukich's.

"Luckich's restaurant is my favorite place," Elane Lee commented. "In my opinion, there's a couple geniuses back there in the kitchen. We are not just buttering them up either, you can have real butter there if you want it."

"This restaurant is awesome," Joann Lingenfelter wrote. "All of the food that I have ever had there has been excellent, and I am one fussy lady."

"Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!!!" Kristi Kozlowski commented. "My kids absolutely love the pancakes. Staff is always very friendly and makes you feel at home. One of our favorite restaurants in Troy."
