• Donald Wolf, 78 – WLKM Radio 95.9 FM (wlkm.com) — Vicksburg readers are remembering Donald Lee Wolf, who attended Vicksburg High School and worked for decades at the Simpson/Fox River paper mill in town. The 78-year-old Vietnam veteran and devoted family man died November 9, and military honors are planned May 8, 2026, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life in Mendon.
   

• Guilty plea after Amish boy killed while biking to school (anabaptistworld.org) — A Vicksburg man has pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated causing death after striking four Amish children on bikes in St. Joseph County, killing a 10-year-old boy. Prosecutors say he was under the influence of multiple drugs and had prior OWI convictions; sentencing is set for Dec. 19 with a recommended minimum of 7.5 years in prison.
