• Suspect accused of stabbing man to death in Warren charged with first-degree murder (cbsnews.com) — A Warren resident was found dead in a home on Westminster after police responded to a call and later negotiated an hours-long standoff with a 30-year-old suspect. Prosecutors have charged the suspect with first-degree premeditated murder, set a $2 million cash-only bond, and scheduled court dates on Dec. 23 and Dec. 30 as the case moves forward.
   

• Defendant in Orchid Theatre shooting found not guilty (candgnews.com) — A Warren man who was shot outside the Orchid Theatre nightclub in Ferndale earlier this year is recovering, and the man accused in the case has now been found not guilty by a jury. Prosecutors say they respect the verdict, while Ferndale police declined comment as the defendant’s bond is being canceled following the acquittal.
   

• Warren man arrested after allegedly shooting cousin, leading police on high-speed chase (wxyz.com) — A man from Warren is in custody after police say he shot his cousin in Eastpointe following a family dispute, then led officers on a 115 mph chase that ended in Harrison Township. Warren officers joined multiple agencies in tracking him down, eventually finding him hiding in frigid water under a bridge. The victim is reported to be in stable condition.
