Today will be partly sunny with a high near 75, according to the National Weather Service. There will be wind gusts as high as 28 mph. There is a 30 percent chance of showers in the night. It will be mostly cloudy with a low around 49.

2. Gas Prices

The cheapest gas in White Lake is $3.76 per gallon at Mobil, 8000 Cooley Lake Road, according to Detroit Gas Prices as of Wednesday afternoon. The cheapest gas in Highland is $3.72 per gallon at CITGO, 2650 South Milford Road. 

3. White Lake Planning Commission Meeting

The White Lake Township Planning Commission will meet 7 p.m. at White Lake Township Hall, 7525 Highland Road.

4. League of Women Voters Candidate Forum

The League of Women Voters (LWV) Oakland Area will conduct and moderate a candidates forum 7 p.m. at Milford High School in the Learning Resource Center. Those expected to be present are Jerry Aubry of Milford, Lisa Blackwell of White Lake and Eric Wallis of Highland. Beth Lewis of Highland is unable to attend and will have a statement read by the moderator.
