'I Was Frozen:' MI Woman Wins Millions On Scratch-Off Ticket
She plans to donate some of the money, use it to complete home repairs and share it with her family.
OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — An Oakland County woman said she was frozen in a Kroger parking lot after finding out she won $4 million on a scratch-off ticket, lottery officials said.
The 77-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, told lottery officials she bought her winning Electric 300s ticket at the Kroger store, located at 670 Highland Avenue in Milford.
"I scratched the ticket in my car in the store parking lot when I was done shopping," she said. "When I saw I won $4 million, I was frozen in my seat for a while."

"I told my husband when I got home, and he had a hard time believing it even after looking the ticket over," she added. "We haven’t told anyone about our big win, but plan to surprise our family with the news soon!"
The woman recently claimed her prize and chose to receive annual payments of about $133,000 for the next 30 years instead of a one-time lump sum payment of $2.7 million, lottery officials said.
