Deputies say power tools, lawn equipment targeted.

Detective Jim Bowie with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office in Highland said the township has been hit by several break-ins in the last week.

"A few of the garages and sheds have been unlocked, but most were secured and the suspects forced entry," Bowie said.

Items like power tools, lawn equipment and chain saws seem to be targets, according to the reports.
