White Lake Man Charged For Larcenies, Bond Set at $25,000

The following information was supplied by White Lake Township Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate convictions.

The man White Lake Police say is responsible for several larcenies from unlocked cars in the area was arraigned Saturday on several charges.

Robert Aubin, 23, of White Lake was arraigned on charges of felony larceny of a firearm, felony larceny of electronics from a vehicle and larceny of personal property - a one year misdemeanor.

His bond was set at $25,000 cash.

Lt. Don Nankervis said police executed a search warrant Friday afternoon at the home where Aubin lives and recovered several items include GPS units.

Nankervis said all the recovered property has been identified and the owners have been contacted.

"He was a very stealthy guy," Nankervis said. "He knew the neighborhoods well and knew where to go so he wouldn't be seen. He told us he would hit 25 or more cars a night."

Aubin was arrested last week when police followed him through a neighborhood and, according to the report, witnessed him going through vehicles.
