60 Principals to Visit Wyandotte Elementary School for Lesson on Instruction
Daily 5 Math, a procedure and organization plan of math lessons, will be implemented Friday at Monroe Elementary School in Wyandotte.
Principals from across Wayne County are expected to visit Monroe Elementary School Friday to witness the implementation of a new procedure and organization plan for teachers, according to a Monroe release.
Sixty principals and many other Wayne County teachers have signed up to learn about Daily 5 Math.
Daily 5 Math allows teachers to work with small groups on the individual needs of students, as well as teach to the whole class in short mini lessons, according to the release.

"Students learn to build stamina that allows them to stay engaged in meaningful mathematical work and exploration though games, technology, partner work and paper work when they are not working with the teacher," Principal Vicki Wilson said in the release.
Wayne County educators are expected to arrive at Monroe Elementary School at 8:30 a.m., visit classrooms from 9 to 10:15 a.m. and participate in a question and answer session at 10:45 a.m.
