Fourth Annual 'Blitzen the Dotte' Takes off Saturday
The Little Reindeer Run, a free quarter-mile fun run for children, has been added to this year's race.

The boat club is hosting the 4th annual at 9 a.m. Saturday.
More than 700 runners and walkers from throughout the area participated last year, according to co-race director Mary Beth Jakubowski.

Registration, which includes a race T-shirt, can be done online or on race day. If done online before Friday, the cost is $22. It’s $25 if done at the race.
The route begins on Biddle at Pine and runs through before finishing behind the Wyandotte Boat Club.

New this year is the Little Reindeer Run, a free quarter-mile fun run for children that starts at 8:40 a.m.
Refreshments will be available after the races. An awards ceremony is set for 10 a.m.
Participants are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the Wyandotte Goodfellows for their mission of ensuring that no child goes without a Christmas.
