To put this theory to the test, Joe's Hamburgers is holding their first slider run from 9 a.m. to noon May 25.

Participants will receive a free slider, fries and a soft drink just for showing up.

Other stops on the burger tour include Bates Hamburgers in Livonia, 207 S. Main Street; Comet Burgers, 33406 5 Mile Road, in Royal Oak and Motz Hamburgers, 7208 West Fort Street in Detroit.

Participants are responsible to pay for additional items.

Registration has already begun. You can register by calling Joe's Hamburgers at 734-285-0420.
