Milkins Jewelers Has a Long, Rich History in Wyandotte: Just Ask Someone
Wyandotte Patch readers share their stories about one of Wyandotte's oldest remaining businesses.

At 108 years old, Milkins Jewelers customers span generations.
The store's founder, Archibald Burdette Milkins, began servicing the Downriver community in 1905.
Current owner and grandson to Archibald Burdette Milkins, Douglas Milkins, 70, of Grosse Ile, said he remains as dedicated to the business as his grandfather was when he opened the doors for the first time.
After more than a century selling and repairing jewelry, chances are you or someone you know purchased something at Milkins.Â
Several Wyandotte Patch readers shared their personal stories relating to one of Wyandotte's oldest remaining businesses. These can be found in the above collection of comments taken from the Wyandotte Patch Facebook page.
Some readers purchased wedding bands, while others repaired a family heirloom. We loved what we've heard so far, but we want to hear more!
