Ice Cream Social to Benefit Wyandotte Museums

Throwing an ice cream social is very different from just throwing ice cream, and much more fun.

Raise funds for the Wyandotte Museums by purchasing desserts provided by Stroh's Ice Cream Parlor during the annual Pie and Ice Cream Social on June 23.

Sweet treats will be for sale from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ford-MacNichol Home in Wyandotte.

Available treats include:

  • Fruit pies
  • Ice cream sundaes
  • Brownies
  • Lemonade
Proceeds will be used to pay for the reinstallation of the city history gallery at the new Wyandotte City Hall.

Guests can also enjoy free admission to the museum, an antique automobile display and nearby art exhibit at the Marx Home.

The event is an annual fundraiser held by the Wyandotte Historical Society.
