Wayne County HS Cancels Classes After Bullet Found: Reports

Police said there is no threat to the public.

SOUTHGATE, MI — Students at Southgate's Anderson High School were sent home early Wednesday after a 9mm bullet was found inside a classroom, according to local reports.

Police do not know where the bullet came from and were still investigating. They said there is no threat to the public.

School officials are expected to announce if the school's extracurricular activities would stay open later in the day.
