Wyandotte Roosevelt Fans Show Their Spirit, Win Facebook Challenge
Patch put forth a challenge on Facebook Thursday night, and Wyandotte Roosevelt Bears fans responded with a resounding growl.
The results are in and Wyandotte Roosevelt fans take the top prize for school spirit.
Patch posted a high school football pride challenge on the Wyandotte Patch and Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch Facebook pages encouraging users to show their school spirit by "like-ing" a photo taken at Thursday's football game featuring a match-up between the Roosevelt Bears and the Trenton Trojans.
Wyandotte took home two wins Thursday night. The Bears won the football game 55-14; the fans won the contest.Â
The Bears play the Lincoln Park Railsplitters at 7 p.m. Sept. 6 at Lincoln Park High School, 1701 Champaign Road.
