Wyandotte Roosevelt Students Testing Rouge River Water Quality
For the 26th straight year students from Oakland, Wayne and Washtenaw counties will collect water quality data for the Rouge River from May 1-15.

Wyandotte Roosevelt High School students will join forces with more than 2,000 students from Oakland, Wayne and Washtenaw counties to collect water quality data for the Rouge River.
From May 1-15 students will continue a 26-year tradition of performing chemical tests, assessing aquatic life, and examining physical streambank condition throughout the Rouge River watershed, according to a Friends of the Rouge release.
Students from kindergartners to seniors are participating in a program called the Rouge Education Project, which was created by the Friends of the Rouge River in Dearborn.
