Wyandotte Student Wins $10K for College in Statewide Competition
Imagine if college was paid for by the State of Michigan. That's what Spencer Genrich did to win a huge scholarship.
A Wyandotte Roosevelt High School senior was selected as the winner of the Michigan 2020 video contest.
Spencer Genrich submitted a short video explaining the need to invest in higher education and the benefits of the Michigan 2020 Plan to offer free college tuition to all students.
Genrich received $10,000 towards tuition at the college of her choice.
Genrich's video was selected above more than 30 other videos submitted by students across the state.Â
