• Zeeland East makes familiar hire with new head varsity softball coach (hollandsentinel.com) — Zeeland East High School has promoted assistant coach Denny Richmond to head varsity softball coach, following Jolie Groeneveld’s move to Indiana Wesleyan University. Richmond, who already worked with the Zeeland East softball program and local travel teams, says he’s eager to grow the school’s softball community and support student-athletes on and off the field.
