5 Minnesotans To Compete In 2022 Winter Paralympics In Beijing

67 athletes from the U.S. will compete in the 2022 Winter Paralympics, which kicked off Friday.

MINNESOTA — Five Minnesotans are in Beijing for the 2022 Winter Paralympics, which began Friday.

Here are the athletes from Minnesota who are competing:

  • Batoyun "Oyuna" Uranchimeg(Burnsville)- wheelchair curling
  • Sydney Peterson(Lake Elmo)- Nordic Skiing
  • Max Nelson(Stillwater)- Nordic skiing
  • Aaron Pike(Grand Rapids)- Nordic skiing
  • Mike Schultz(Saint Cloud)- snowboarding

67 total athletes from the United States are competing in this year's Paralympics.
