5 MN Kids Win $100K Scholarships For Getting COVID-19 Vaccines
Minnesota's "Kids Deserve a Shot" campaign offered a slew of incentives, including gift cards, tickets to Vikings games and much more.
MINNESOTA — Five children from Minnesota will each have $100,000 to put towards their college education after winning scholarships from Minnesota’s “Kids Deserve a Shot” campaign to encourage kids to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The winners of the six-figure scholarships include kids from Stillwater, Plymouth, Rochester and Apple Valley.
The “Kids Deserve a Shot” campaign offered a slew of prizes to encourage children 12-17 to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, including $200 gift cards, tickets and gear from Minnesota’s professional and college sports teams, a “zookeeper for a day” experience, and much more.
