Boosters Available To All Adults: Where To Find One In Minnesota
Minnesota health officials are recommending booster shots to all adults in the state who have already received a coronavirus vaccine.
MINNESOTA — All adults in Minnesota can now receive coronavirus vaccine booster shots after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expanded eligibility to all people 18 and over.
Residents are eligible for a booster if they received their second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago, according to the CDC.
Residents who received the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago should also get booster shots, according to Minnesota health officials, who are recommending boosters for all adults in the state who have already received a vaccine.

Officials are allowing residents to “mix and match” their boosters, which means the booster shot does not have to be the same brand as their initial vaccine.
"Booster shots have demonstrated the ability to safely increase people's protection against infection and severe outcomes and are an important public health tool to strengthen our defenses against the virus as we enter the winter holidays," CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said.
