Drunk Driving Suspected In MN Crash Injuring 6-Year-Old Girl, 5 Others
A 6-year-old girl and five other people were injured in a suspected drunk driving head-on crash in Chisago County on Saturday.
CHISAGO COUNTY, MN — A 6-year-old girl and five other people were injured in a suspected drunk driving head-on crash in Chisago County on Saturday.
On Sept. 14 just after 10:30 a.m., the Chisago County Emergency Communications Center began receiving 911 calls about a collision in Stacy, Minnesota.
The two-car crash left everyone involved with injuries. The 6-year-old girl was flown from the scene to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.

The five others injured in the crash were taken to area hospitals and are expected to survive.
An adult male suspect was detained at a local hospital and alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, according to authorities.

"Deputies are still processing the scene and speaking with witnesses; therefore, no further information is currently available," the Chisago County Sheriff's Office said.
"More information is anticipated once the suspect is medically cleared; however, there is no current timeline on when that will take place."
