RUSH CITY, MN — A 2-1/2-year-old Minnesota boy reported missing Thursday night was found just minutes later — after he took his battery-powered John Deere tractor to the county fair with one goal in mind: to ride the Tilt-A-Whirl.

Dispatchers received a call at around 6:51 p.m. reporting the boy missing.

Sheriff's Sgt. Jason Foster told KARE that the 2-1/2-year-old drove the tractor down the sidewalk, through a back gate and then navigated a heavy crowd to arrive at destination: the Tilt-a-Whirl.
