- Our most-read story was that Mixed Martial Arts fighter and Apple Valley resident Brett Rogers on Sept. 15, stemming from the in their Apple Valley home; other initial charges that were dropped included domestic assault, stalking and child endangerment. Rogers after violating an order for protection that had been placed against him. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 30.
- Readers also seemed to enjoy the photos from 's , our second most-viewed post. There were some great pictures of the royalty, including an adorable cast of junior royalty members (and no, I don't mean high-school juniors—think younger!). As a preview, Homecoming festivities are coming up next week, so look for photos from their events as well.
- Our garnered a lot of interest as well. They have three generations of the family all living within two blocks of each other in Apple Valley, and all nine children in the youngest generation will attend the exact same elementary, middle and high schools as their three Christiansen-family parents. Very cool.
- Anybody stopped at the Ulta beauty supply store yet? Our next most-popular post was about the store's grand opening, where for a chance to win prizes and to get inside the store for the first time. Needless to say, Apple Valley is now looking even better than it was before!
- Rounding out our top five for September is a story about over a period of several years through emails, messages, gifts and asking the police to check on her. She allegedly had to move several times.
