5 Things to Know: Halloween Costume Ideas, Wolf Talk
The final regular-season high school football games will take place Wednesday this week.

1. Tuesday is the day—the day that 's boys and girls soccer teams give it their all to make it to the state tournament. In fact, their matchups (both against Eagan) will be featured as our Games of the Week. Get out to Park High School in Cottage Grove to cheer them on at 5 p.m. Tuesday (girls game) and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (boys game).
2. Seats remain for Wednesday's free lecture at the , about the science and culture of wolves. The talk, at the zoo's Target Learning Center, will feature a wildlife specialist with the state's Department of Natural Resources and the director of education from the International Wolf Center. 3. The final games for and Eastview's football teams are Wednesday this week, NOT the typical Friday. Apple Valley takes on Bloomington Kennedy at 7 p.m. Wednesday at home. Eastview travels to Bloomington Jefferson at the same time. Section playoffs start next week Tuesday.

5. For all you bus riders: For now, two Minnesota Valley Transit Authority routes have changed due to the construction on Cedar Avenue.

The 442 and 480A routes moved from going along Whitney Drive, to 157th Street Between Cedar and and Gardenview.
BUT, as of Dec. 3, they'll be changing again. The city received complaints about the changes, and further studied the issue, according to a city memo.
So, on Dec. 3, the 442 route will be back along Whitney Drive again. The 480A route will no longer stop at the , which means buses will no longer travel along 157th west of Cedar.
