District 196 Budget Advisory Council Seeks New Member

District 196 is accepting applications for a new member for its Budget Advisory Council, according to a news release, after former member Gary Huusko .

The council provides input to the school board on budget plans, and is made up of nine people in the District 196 community; members should have a general knowledge of finance or some type of financial background, the release says.

The council meets four to six evenings per school year.

Applications are due Dec. 6. They're available on the district's website or by calling 651-423-7715.
