Richard J. "Dick" Sorlie, age 82 of Apple Valley, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Harriet and a brother, John, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dolores; his children, Flint (Sue) & their children, Alycia and Alex; Eric, Carl, and Beth (Chris) Wyatt & their daughter, Tricia; 3 brothers, Donald (Esther), Peter (Adeline) and Allen; many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Special Olympics or to the Disabled American Veterans.
