Robert D. 'Bob' Heacock, 93

Robert D. "Bob" Heacock, age 93 of Apple Valley, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012.

Heacock joined the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1943 and was a 1st lieutenant with the 8th Air Force, 94th bomb group, 410th bomb squadron. After his service he began a career in insurance.

Memorials to Fairview Hospice or the CAP Agency.

Funeral service and visitation were held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, with burial at Dawn Valley Memorial Park with military honors.
