Students of Year Named for Apple Valley, Eastview, Dakota Ridge

The District 196 School Board recognized 2011-12 Students of the Year from Apple Valley and Rosemount high schools at its April 30 regular meeting and is scheduled to recognize Students of the Year from Eagan and Eastview high schools and Dakota Ridge School at its next regular meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, May 14 at Dakota Ridge.

Students of the Year are selected by teachers and administrators at each school based on their academic performance and participation in the given subject area

“We are very proud of all of these students and wish them the best in the future,” said Superintendent Jane K. Berenz. She applauded parents for their involvement and thanked the many staff members at these students’ elementary schools, middle schools and high schools for the support and encouragement they provided to these students throughout their years in District 196.
