Apple Valley Boys Hockey Season Ends in Triple-Overtime Heartbreaker
Eastview boys hockey also lost its section quarterfinal game to Park Cottage Grove on Thursday.

The No. 2-seeded boys hockey team was ousted from section play in heartbreaking fashion Thursday night, after the seven seed East Ridge handed the Eagles a 3-2, triple-overtime loss in the section 3AA quarterfinal.

The Eagles were 11-11-3 overall during the regular season, and 8-6-3 in the South Suburban Conference.

The No. 4-seeded boys hockey team's season also ended Thursday night, with a 5-0 quarterfinal loss to No. 5 Park Cottage Grove.
