Apple Valley Gains 2 Off-Leash Dog Areas: Report
The ordinances approved by City Council went into effect Friday, according to reports.
APPLE VALLEY, MN — Apple Valley City Council approved two ordinances last week that would allow dogs to be off-leash in designated areas, according to a report by Sun Thisweek.
The ordinances went into effect Friday, the report said.
There will be two off-leash dog areas in the boarded hockey rinks at Delaney and Huntington parks that can be used in the off-season, the publication reported.

The off-leash areas will be open 5 a.m.-10 p.m. daily, according to the report.
