Apple Valley Restaurant Patios Receive High Praise: Report

EAGAN, MN — Two restaurants in Apple Valley made The St. Paul Pioneer Press's annual list of the best patios in the Twin Cities.

Mexcalito Butcher is located on Florence Trail and features "elevated Mexican food," the publication said.

The report also raved about the birria tacos and cocktail list.

The second Apple Valley eatery featured was The Tavern Grill, located on Founders Lane.

"Tavern Grill draws regulars not only for its wide-ranging menu — casual burgers and pizzas as well as fancy steak and seafood — but also for its elaborate landscaped patios," the publication raved.
