Apple Valley School Still On DOH's Coronavirus Outbreak List

In order to be removed from the list, the school must go 28 days without reporting new cases.

APPLE VALLEY, MN—Apple Valley Senior High remains on the Minnesota Department of Health's list of schools with recent Coronavirus outbreaks, the department reported Thursday.

The school was initially added to the department's list last Thursday, March 11.

In order to be removed from the list, the school must go 28 days without reporting new cases, the department said.

In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said.

Six other schools in Dakota County-Red Pine Elementary School, Rosemount Middle School, Rosemount Senior High School, East Lake Elementary School, St. Thomas Academy and Farmington High School, were also on the list, the department said.
