Apple Valley Teen Killed In ATV Crash In Brainerd Identified

Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol are investigating the crash.

APPLE VALLEY, MN — The 16-year-old girl who was killed in an ATV crash in Brainerd on Thanksgiving has been identified as Isabella Brandt, of Apple Valley, according to a news release from Crow Wing County's Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office said it was notified of an ATV crash with injuries west of Brainerd Airport on Thursday afternoon.

An ATV with two riders went over a valley/drainage in the field and went air born, according to the news release. The ATV landed at the bottom of the valley/drainage and rolled multiple times, the Sheriff said.

Brandt was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the news release.

The 18-year-old driver of the ATV was transported to North Memorial Hospital, the Sheriff's Office said.
