Back To School: Apple Valley, Rosemount 2021-22 School Calendar

APPLE VALLEY/ROSEMOUNT, MN — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Apple Valley and Rosemount, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Independent School District 196.

The first day of school for most middle and high school students in Apple Valley and Rosemount is Sept. 1.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

Patch has reached out to ISD 196 to inquire about mask policies for the 2021-22 school year.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Independent School District 196

First Day: Sept. 1, Regular classes for Kindergarten will begin Sept. 9

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26

Winter Break: Dec. 24-Jan. 1

Spring Break: March 21-25

Last Day: June 8
