Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Program Receives Proclamation for Apple Valley

Community members who have worked to start the Apple Valley chapter of the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon program, which aids military members and their families, were at last week's city council meeting at the to receive the state's official proclamation of the city's Yellow Ribbon status.

Yellow Ribbon cities are part of the Yellow Ribbon Community Campaign, which is part of the Minnesota National Guard’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The community campaign brings a local community together to gather resources and provide support for Minnesotans in the military and their families during and after deployment.
