The City of Rosemount works to gather citizen feedback in a variety of ways. You can attend a meeting, join a commission, send feedback online, email or call a council member, and engage with us on social media, to name a few. In addition, the City has an account with a surveying platform called Polco. This tool played a key role in our 2021 Rosemount Citizen Survey which yielded in depth and scientifically statistical results about broad topics such as Public Safety, Public Works, Economic Development, and city service. For the first time, more than half of respondents took the citizen survey online. We are now able to reach out to those accounts periodically to get additional feedback. We plan to send brief surveys a few times a month to get more in depth feedback from our residents on specific topics.
