New Coffee Shop Set To Open In Apple Valley
The unnamed shop, complete with a drive-thru, will be one of a handful of businesses that will open in a future building on Cedar Avenue.

APPLE VALLEY — Apple Valley residents will soon have another option to get their caffeine fix – the City Council recently approved the construction of a new 7,420 square foot building that will include a coffee shop with a drive-thru.
The building will be located across Cedar Avenue from Valley Buick in front of Hope Church. The initial plan was to build a bank or credit union, but the revised plan will be made up of the coffee shop – the name of which is not yet known – and a handful of other businesses.
"It's going to be like a mini strip mall," said Fabiana Pardo, business manager at the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce. "They're going to chop it up to have at least the coffee shop – TBD as to which coffee shop – and then maybe some retail or some other shops all in that same building."

The number of businesses the building will host will depend on the type of companies that move into it and the amount of space they will need, Pardo said.
The city has not broken ground on the building yet, Pardo said. The location is currently an empty lot with no existing buildings on it.
