Dakota County Hires Former Farmington City Administrator: Report

David McKnight ​sent in his resignation Tuesday and will begin his new job in March, the Pioneer Press reports.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Dakota County recently hired Farmington's former city administrator, according to a report by the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

David McKnight, who resigned from his city administrator position on Tuesday, will be the County's new director of enterprise finance and information services, according to the report.

McKnight will begin his new position in March, the publication reported.
