September 28, 2021 • DCTC working with LeadMN to get out the vote

First celebrated in 2012, National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan holiday that involves thousands of organizations and volunteers working together to ensure their family, friends, and neighbors are registered to vote and ready to cast a ballot. This year, National Voter Registration Day will be celebrated Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

As Minnesota’s State Captain for National Voter Registration Day, LeadMN is working with Minnesota colleges to help them succeed in registering students on their campuses to vote. Utilizing National Voter Registration Day as a celebration of democracy and civic engagement on the DCTC campus is one highly effective strategy.
