In District 196, we are celebrating Teacher and School Nurses Appreciation Week May 2-6, 2022. We are fortunate to have incredible educators and school nurses who keep our learning communities healthy and successful.

Did you know? There are over 2,600 full-time, part-time and substitute teachers, and 50 full- and part-time school nurses who play a critical part in the mission of educating our students to reach their full potential. They are role models for the youth of our community, helping them to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful, contributing members of society.
