Rosemount City Council: Weisensel, Demuth, Kurle, Zanmiller Are Top 4 in Primary
The top four vote-getters will be listed on the general election ballot in November, vying for two council seats.

With all seven Rosemount precincts reporting, the four candidates who will move on to the November general election ballot for two City Council seats are:
- (incumbent), 29.2 percent
- , 26.79 percent
- Joe Kurle, 13.71 percent
- Joseph P. Zanmiller, 13.66 percent
The two other candidates on Tuesday's primary ballot were and Maila C. Ellefson, who received 9.33 percent and 7.31 percent of votes, respectively.

The two candidates with the most votes in the November general election will join Mark DeBettignies, Kim Shoe-Corrigan and Mayor Bill Droste on the council. Matt Kearney did not file for candidacy for re-election.
